Learning Disability Week (19-25 June) takes place to highlight the incredible things that people with a learning disability achieve, smashing misconceptions about what people can do and shining a light on the stigma many still face every day.
To support Mencap and educate and raise awareness of people with learning disabilities, on Saturday 24th June, Ross-on-Wye is holding its first ever Rosstock 2023 to celebrate and support Learning Disability Week.
Organised by local charities, The Ross-on-Wye Horizon Centre and EnviroAbility, the event will be hosted at Ross Rugby Club from 12.00 to 19.00. It promises to be a fantastic day out for the family and people of all ages and abilities, with live music, drama, dance, circus skills, arts and crafts, football skills plus food, drink and refreshments.
Bring a picnic or buy food from the onsite vendors.
For tickets contact The Ross-on-Wye Horizon Centre on 01989 253131 or EnviroAbility at 01989 763388.
Tickets (£2) are limited so buy early to avoid disappointment. One carer per person goes free.
