Ross-on-Wye Market
Ross‑on‑Wye Town Council hosts a vibrant, twice‑weekly market under the historic 12th‑century Market House – bringing fresh produce, crafts, plants, foods and more to the heart of our community every Thursday and Saturday.
The Charter for this historic market was granted by King Stephen in the 12th Century.
Ross Market can be found under and around the Market House, an ancient monument and visitor attraction in its own right, in the centre of the town.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council is responsible for running the twice weekly markets which are held every Thursday and Saturday from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
Our Traders
At the heart of this historic market town since the 12th century, Ross-on-Wye’s weekly market brings the Market House and Apron to life every Thursday and Saturday.
Discover a variety of stalls from fresh produce, seafood, cheese and bakes to plants, flowers, clothing, street food and artisan crafts. Our traders are friendly, passionate and independent with some joining us every week, others coming along monthly and a variety of pop-ups adding something new for both locals and visitors.
A tradition for centuries, the Ross Market remains the perfect place to shop local and enjoy the true spirit of a market town.
