Come along and enjoy the Ross-on-Wye Children’s Book Festival taking place Saturday 24 June to Sunday 2 July and get your little ones inspired! All activities are free and there’s no need to book apart from Matilda The Musical film.
As well as a children’s Book Characters Trail around the town centre (look out for details in participating shop windows) there will be book readings, arts & crafts workshops and much more.
Friday 30th June
15.30-16.30: Drop in arts & crafts session at Art Studio Ross – “Creating Story Bags”
Saturday 1st July
10.00: Make a picture book with Elka Evalds at Ross Library
10.00-16.00: Activities at Ross-on-Wye Community Garden including Stick Man Trail, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Scarecrows Wedding Trail
11.30-12.30: story time with local author Charlotte L. Taylor
12.30: story time at Ross Community Garden by Simon Beeden from Ross Library
12.30-16.00: Mixed media book covers at Art Studio Ross
17.30: Matilda The Musical film at St. Mary’s Church Hall organised by Flicks in the Sticks
