Christmas opening times and useful information

The Ross-on-Wye Town Council offices will be closed from 1pm on Friday 22nd December and will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January at 9.30am. We would like to wish everyone a healthy, happy and prosperous Christmas and New Year.

ADDITIONAL USEFUL INFORMATION FROM HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL REGARDING SERVICES DURING THE FESTIVE PERIOD:

Christmas bin collections

Bins due to be collected on Christmas Day, Monday 25th December; Boxing Day, Tuesday 26th December; and New Year’s Day, Monday 1st January have been moved.

Replacement dates are:

• Christmas Day, Monday 25th December will be collected on Saturday 30th December
• Boxing Day, Tuesday 26th December will be collected on Sunday 31st December
• New Year’s Day, Monday 1st January will be collected on Saturday 6th January

All other collections remain the same during the festive period.

Please ensure bins are put out by 6.30am as collections may be earlier than usual over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

Recycling centres

All household waste and recycling centres are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. They will be open as usual throughout the rest of the festive period.

Please remember to book a slot to visit your local household waste and recycling centre to dispose of items. If you turn up without booking you will not be allowed to enter the site.

Herefordshire Council customer service centre opening times

Herefordshire Council Customer Service centre will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. They will be open from 9am to 5pm on 27th to 29th December and 2nd January.
