The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort. The Coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.
Ross-on-Wye’s regular Saturday market coincides with Coronation and will take place from 10am to 3pm with a small number of food, drink, arts & crafts stalls plus wine, beer and soft drinks served from our onsite vintage van. Local buskers are invited to join in.
The Town Crier will officially announce the Coronation before music duo, Annteek, perform at midday.
