20/7/20: Enhancing the Riverside

The Council is pleased to be working in partnership with the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Natural England and the Ross Angling Club to provide more fishing platforms along the river bank at Long Acre. During the very wet winter, there were substantial collapses of the bank and these platforms will be made of living willow woven into the bank which will help to stabilise it. The Council is grateful to the Angling Club for financing this project.
