Free family friendly activities at the Market House during October Half term

Ross-on-Wye Town Council has organised a number of free activities at the Market House in Ross during October Half Term for families to enjoy. On Wednesday 30th October the Wildplay Rangers from Herefordshire Wildlife Trust will be holding a hedgehog themed play and explore session from 10am – 12noon. This event is part of the Market House Legacy Project which has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Pilgrim Trust and The Wolfson Foundation.

Ross-on-Wye Town Council has organised a number of free activities at the Market House in Ross during October Half Term for families to enjoy. On Monday 28th October Art Studio Ross will be holding a Halloween themed craft workshop with the opportunity to make Mummy Jam Jar Lanterns and Halloween Sweet Buckets. The workshop will be held from 10am – 3pm.

Armistice Day Commemoration

Join us at 11am at the Market House on Monday 11th November 2024 for a short service to mark Armistice Day. Please note a maroon will be fired at the start and end of the silence.

Remembrance Day Parade

On Sunday 10th November serving military personnel, veterans, Naval, Army and Air Cadets as well as Scouts and Guides will parade from the Police Station on Old Maids Walk at 10am to the War Memorial on The Prospect. Everyone is cordially invited to meet at the Prospect from 10.30am, where we will be joined by Civic Dignitaries and representatives of a host of Town Organisations and Clubs, for the Town’s formal commemoration of those that have lost their lives in conflict.
