On Sunday 12th November serving military personnel, veterans, Naval, Army and Air Cadets as well as Scouts and Guides will parade under the watchful eye of WO Clinton Marsh RAF, from the Police Station on Old Maids Walk at 10am to the War Memorial on The Prospect. Everyone is cordially invited to meet at the Prospect from 10.30am, where we will be joined by Civic Dignitaries and representatives of a host of Town Organisations and Clubs, for the Town’s formal commemoration of those that have lost their lives in conflict. This will be followed immediately by a Remembrance Sunday Service to be held in St Mary’s Church, after which refreshments will be served.
