Upcoming footpath resurfacing works affecting Trenchard Street and Greytree Road

Balfour Beatty will be carrying out footpath resurfacing works at two locations in Ross-on-Wye – Trenchard Street and Greytree Road, with a road closure in place during the works.
Trenchard Street, Ross-on-Wye
Works will be taking place under a road closure, from Tuesday 19th September 2023 to (and including) Wednesday 20th September 2023. The road will be closed between 9.00am – 5.00pm each day.
The fully signed diversion route will be via the U70601 Trenchard Street / B4260 Wilton Road / A40 / B4234 Ledbury Road / U70604 Greytree Road and vice versa.(Please see map below)
Greytree Road, Ross-on-Wye
Works will be taking place under a road closure, from Thursday 21st September 2023 to (and including) Tuesday 26th September 2023. The road will be closed between 9:00am – 5:00pm each day.
The fully signed diversion route will be via Greytree Road / Homs Road / Spine Road / Brampton Road / Over Ross Street and vice versa. (Please see map below)
Balfour Beatty will do all they can to provide vehicular access to properties, although there may be times when they are not able to do so safely or there may be delays. You can get help and guidance from the dedicated marshals on site.
A spokesperson said: “We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. At Balfour Beatty we work in partnership with Herefordshire Council to minimise the impact of our work and try to keep all disruption to a minimum – we appreciate your patience.
“The programme of work may change in certain circumstances, such as bad weather. This may happen at short notice and without further notification.
