31/8/21: Return of Proms in the Park

This Sunday 5 September sees the return of Ross-on-Wye Town Council’s Proms in the Park event, part of the Bands in the Park series of free summer concerts – but even bigger with 7 hours of entertainment! Concerts will start at 1pm with the Chepstow Community Big Band whose repertoire includes all the favourite Big Swing classics, followed by the brilliant Chepstow Community Gospel Choir at 3.30pm. Finishing off the event will be the much loved Ebbw Valley Brass band from 6pm.

Food and drink will be available until 8pm and will include Kelsmor Dairy ice-cream plus a selection of street food traders. There will be some entertainment for the kids with Joey the juggler and his highly skilled balloon modelling – so bring a blanket or chair and join in the fun.

The event also hopes to raise much needed funds for local charity, EnviroAbility, so please remember to bring any spare change you have available to support them.
