New play equipment installed at Dean Hill Play Park
10 June 2024

Ross-on-Wye Town Council is delighted to confirm that an area of Dean Hill Play Park has been refurbished with new play equipment and is now open to use, thanks to grants from additional funders, including the Herefordshire Community Foundation, as well as funds from the Town Council.
The new equipment includes a climbing frame, scramble net, balance beam, climbing wall and bucket swing. New seating will also be added thanks to Walford Timber who have kindly donated two picnic benches.
We hope to be able to refurbish the younger children’s section in the near future.
Deputy Clerk, Charlotte Reynolds, said: “This project has been a year in the making, and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I hope the children of Ross-on-Wye enjoy the new equipment. A huge thank you to our additional funders, including the Herefordshire Community Foundation, for helping to improve the area, Walford Timber for their kind donation of the picnic benches and to Playtime By Fawns for all their help and assistance with the purchase and install of the equipment.”
