Mayor’s 2025 Christmas Card competition winner announced

Following the continued success of the Mayor’s Christmas Card competition, the current Mayor, Cllr Linden Delves, was keen to continue this tradition and to run the competition again this year.
The Town Council was inundated with fantastic festive entries, and the Mayor was impressed with the standard and creativity of the designs.
The Mayor found it difficult to choose just one winner, and after much deliberation he chose Beatrix Clarke, aged 9, who drew a beautiful picture of our historic Market House inside a snow globe.
The Mayor recently met Beatrix to offer her congratulations and to present her with a little treat to say well done.
The Mayor’s Christmas card will be available to purchase from Monday 24th November from the Town Council offices at the Town Hall, Cantilupe Road for £5 for a pack of 5, with all profits going to the Mayor’s charity, Age UK Wyvern.
