Join us in celebrating the return of the Market House
16 October 2024

With the restoration of the Market House now complete, the interpretation boards ready to be put in place and Made in Ross returning to the upstairs, the official relaunch event will be taking place on Saturday 9th November, 9am-4.30pm.
As well as a wonderful array of market stalls including food and drink and arts and crafts from 9am-3pm, there will also be live music and street entertainment. A hedgehog themed workshop will be under the Market House where you can learn all about the symbol of Ross-on-Wye, as well as try your hand at a few crafts and games. There will also be 50 Hedgehog Hub Starter Kits to be given away which will include hedgehog food, pin badge and wildflower seeds.
From 3pm a civic event will be taking place in Made in Ross which will move downstairs to the underneath of the Market House for speeches and the official re-opening which will be followed by a performance by Ross-on-Wye Town Band.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council invites all to attend and to celebrate welcoming back our Market House, its history and heritage.
