The Equinox Festival returns to Ross
23 August 2022

Ross-on-Wye Town Council is excited to announce that the Equinox Festival – the town’s first free wellbeing and world music event – is back again this year on Saturday 24 September after a trial format in 2021 following the pandemic.
Due to invaluable support from the Arts Council England, the town council is able to run an exciting programme of wellbeing activities, workshops and world music from the Border Belles Ladies’ Choir, Jon Sterckx Music, the Omar Puente Sextet, dr trippy and Transglobal Underground.
The fantastic Wye Valley River Festival will also be attending with its unique programme of activities and festival goers will be able to enjoy street food and drink, face painting, arts and crafts and learn more about local voluntary and charity organisations in the area who are here to offer support.
Stallholders can apply now for food, drink, arts & crafts pitches by emailing tourism@rosstc-herefordshire.gov.uk for an application form.
More details to follow as the programme is finalised but we look forward to welcoming in the autumn equinox with some wonderful artists, practitioners and, of course, our wonderful community!
**Also taking place that weekend is the Ross-on-Wye Walking Festival, 23-25 September, so why not book one of the wonderful town or countryside walks before or after the festival to make the most of our great outdoors? Tickets: walkinginross.co.uk/festival/programme
