Connected for Warmth is an award-winning energy efficiency programme managed by AgilityEco in partnership with Affordable Warmth Solutions.
Connected for Warmth offers fully-funded cavity wall insulation and loft insulation to households throughout Britain, which can help reduce energy use and keep homes warmer for less. Participating households can receive one or both of these measures, installed by experienced Trustmark-registered professionals. They can also benefit from other support such as heating controls, smaller energy saving measures and personalised energy advice – all for free.
Connected for Warmth funded by National Grid as part of their affordable warmth obligations.
The scheme is open to all Council Tax Bands A-D households and owner occupier or privately rented in Herefordshire
Residents have to apply via a portal: https://www.connectedforwarmth.org.uk/apply-for-insulation
- Eligible for FREE Cavity Wall (CWI) and Loft Insulation (includes top up)
- Must be owner occupier or privately rented
- If able to install CWI and/or Loft Insulation, then secondary measures can be installed
- Secondary measures are Heating Controls and RadBots
- Other measures are also available, these are Reflective Radiator Panels, Low Energy Light Bulbs, Draughtproofing and Chimney balloons.
- Other outcomes for the householder is a pre EPC and post EPC
