14/12/21: Christmas opening times and useful information

The Ross-on-Wye Town Council offices will be closed from 1pm on Friday 24 December and will re-open on Tuesday 4 January at 9.30am. We would like to wish everyone a healthy, happy and prosperous Christmas and New Year.
ADDITIONAL USEFUL INFORMATION FROM HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL REGARDING SERVICES DURING THE FESTIVE PERIOD:
Recycling and rubbish collections
Bin collection days aren’t affected over the festive period. Please ensure your bins are put out by 6.30am as collections may be earlier over the festive period.
Household Recycling Centres across Herefordshire will be open as usual throughout the festive period (except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) where real Christmas trees can be composted with garden waste. Please make sure to book your slot.
Customer Service Centre opening times

Blueschool House will be closed for council services on Friday 24 December and will re-open on Wednesday 29 December. It will then close again on Friday 31 December and re-open Tuesday 4 January 2022.
DWP services at Blueschool House will close on Monday 27 December and will reopen on Thursday 30 December. It will then close again on Monday 3 January, re-opening on Tuesday 4 January.
Museums, Libraries and Archives opening times
The Black and White House Museum opening hours:
- Monday 20 December: open 10am – 4pm
- Monday 20, Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 December: closed for lunch 1pm – 1.30pm
- Closed from Friday 24 December to Tuesday 28 December and Sat 1 and Thurs 6 January.
Hereford Museum and Art Gallery
- Closed from 19 December 2021 to 10 January 2022.
All libraries will be closed on Friday 24 December and will return to normal opening times from Tuesday 4 January 2022.
Click and collect services will be available until 23 December and will then close until Tuesday 4 January 2022.
The Herefordshire Archives and Records Centre (HARC) will close at 3.30pm on Friday 23 December and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
