Footpaths
There are many paths through the town, offering a peaceful alternative to the busy streets,
behind the swimming pool,
around Morrison's,
along the River Wye,
up or down, and always a choice of ways.
Part of the Wye Valley Walk passes through Ross.
Join it at Bridstow Bridge and follow the path towards the town.
The John Kyrle Walk is a circular walk of about 3 km and takes you from the Churchyard,
through fields of hay,
down the cliffs to the meadows,
and along the river back towards Wilton Bridge.
The Mayor and Mayoress pictured with the Council's voluntary Footpath Officer, Leslie Ward as walkers gather for the start of the Walking Festival.
The Mayor cuts the ribbon . . .
. . . and the walks begin.
