The Full Council normally meets on the second Monday of each month, excluding August, and at other times during the year should the need arise.
The meetings take place at 7.00pm in the Council Chamber on the first floor of the Corn Exchange (a lift is available). During each meeting there is a public session where residents of the town can put their concerns to councillors. The agenda is posted on this site and the notice board five days prior to the meeting.
The Annual Meeting of the Town Council will take place on 14 May 2012 at the Corn Exchange. It is the meeting at which the election of the Mayor and appointments to Committees is undertaken. The Mayor Making Ceremony takes place a week later at the Larruperz Centre.

Annual Town Meeting next takes place on 2 April 2012. The meeting is called by the Chairman of the Council and takes place at the Larruperz Community Centre.
