Committees

The Policy & Management Committee
is responsible for the administration of the council and manages its risks and policies. It's five members include the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the other committees. It meets five times a year, normally on a fourth Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm in the Corn Exchange.

The Amenities Committee monitors and maintains the areas of the town which the council owns and has responsibility for. It meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7.00pm in the Corn Exchange.

The Finance Committee recommends the budget to Full Council, allocates grants, and monitors the spending of the Council. It meets five times a year normally on a fourth Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm in the Corn Exchange.

The Planning and Development Committee is a statutory consultee on all planning applications relevant to the town. The Committee can comment on applications, but the decision making authority is Herefordshire Council. It normally meets every four weeks on a Wednesday at 7.00pm in the Corn Exchange.
